Pansy 10 is from a series of 22 paintings created by artist, Laurie Koss, for her 2017 solo art show, Pansy. She has dedicated Pansy 10 to Margaret Manton, a dear friend who passed away from cancer in the fall of 2023.
Margaret and Laurie shared 25+ years of friendship, bonded by a love of family, hiking, yoga, waterskiing, snowskiing, spirituality, and healthy eating.
Margaret was always a wonderful support of Laurie’s art career, even purchasing (along with her husband, Bruce McTavish), two of the original pansy paintings from the 2017 show. (This is the first donation of a print dedicated to the owner of the original painting).
All proceeds of the sale of Margaret’s Flower prints will be donated to Central Okanagan Hospice Association.
